Jet Li portrays an undercover cop from Mainland China who must bust up a gang operation that involves antiques.. He struggles to keep his identity secret, even from his own family. He has very strong ties with his son and ailing wife. While away in Hong Kong on assignment, he is spotted by a policewoman, Anita Mui. Mui believes Li to be a criminal and contacts his family in China when she can not capture him. When Li's cover is blown, he teams up with his son and Mui to bring justice to the gang's boss.

The picture quality is good. The print of the film looks a little worn at times but overall the picture quality is definitely acceptable.

The sound is a Dolby 5.1 mix. Overall, the sound is done well. Most, if not all the sound is only heard from the front speakers.

I watched the movie in Cantonese with the English subtitles. There is also an option to watch the movie with the Mandarin soundtrack. The subtitles are fairly well done and did not lag behind what was said.

The only extra is the trailer for the movie. It contains a few scenes I don't remember seeing in the movie.

If you are a fan of this movie, you will definitely want to get the DVD. This movie is more of a drama than an action movies so you may want to rent this first if you haven't seen it yet. There are some great action scenes but this also has a fair amount of drama.

This has also been released by DIMENSION as JET LI' S THE ENFORCER. I don't know if they put the original title on the DVD.
