PRISON ON FIRE 2 continues the story of Chow Yun-Fat's character from the first movie. This time, outside of prison his mother dies and his son is put into an orphanage. Inside of prison, he is caught caught between rival gangs and a brutal warden.

The picture is very good for the most part. Dark scenes tend to be a little blurry at times, but these are very few. The aren't so many of those overexposed scenes that seem to plague so many Hong Kong DVD's. The print that was used was very good and there isn't any dust or scratches or edit marks.
I watched the movie with the Cantonese soundtrack. The sound was for the most part just coming from the front speakers except for the occasional boom from a smoke grenade that would come from the rear speakers. It wasn't jarring but it comes as a surprise.

There are three trailers on this DVD, PRISON ON FIRE, PRISON ON FIRE 2, and CITY ON FIRE. All three of these DVD's are really great to have if you are a Chow Yun-Fat or Ringo Lam fan.

This is a really good DVD. The movie is good and really makes you feel for Chow Yun-Fat's character. The movie makes you sympathize for the prisoners just long enough so that when they something barbaric, it shocks you. PRISON ON FIRE 2 is a good continuation of PRISON ON FIRE without rehashing the original.
